"Ice Fire" Family I started this series long ago, but now it's quite taken over. So much fun to finally work with. It began life as an ice sculpture of an eagle (maybe a swan), many years ago. Now it has taken on a life of it's own.

"Light at the End of the Tunnel" Cabbage. "White Caps" A multi-program and multi-process artwork from the Cabbages series. It takes a long time to construct these artworks, but that's the fun part. Here's a bit about how go about it. You can see I completely rebuilt the entire left side, using manipulated pieces from other parts of the image, or from other images from the same photo shoot. The upper left backgound leaf is derived from the upper right one. The left lobe of the central group is derived from the Center one. The square version is partly cropped, partly reconfigured from the long version. I like to work in evolutionary series, with crowd-sourced decisions as to which images gets to procreate.
