The Archiving of these early works is an ongoing project. Many are in file formats which are no longer in use, or exist only in print or photographic form. I will add images and info as they resurface.
DIGITAL WORK, Phase I - "The FACES PROJECT" Amiga with DeluxePaint 1985- 1991
"Capitol Skyline" was my first mural sized digital work, done with an Amiga in 32 colors, lo res. It was commissioned by a DC company for their conference room. It was made of 18 separate panels, each 24"x18". Although I had a good dot-matrix printer, the prints were not archival, nor sturdy enough for the wet process of attaching them to the stretched canvases. I had to take my master printed pieces to a color-laser copier place, and convince them to let me use my special archival paper. The pieces were carefully trimmed and pieced together with clear acrylic to the toned canvases. The canvases were then hung close together on the wall, making a 4 foot by 12 foot mural. A second copy was commissioned for a large hotel lobby. This is not a good photo, but I think I may still have the print masters.
